Introduction:
We hereby notify that the School is going to hold a School of Marxism of Southwest Jiaotong University Outstanding College Student Online Summer Camp to deepen national outstanding college students' understanding of our School's discipline directions, and promote exchanges between outstanding undergraduates from various universities' discipline of Marxism. Additionally, the event aims at helping outstanding college students enhance interest in scientific research and broaden academic horizons, and build a platform and provide an opportunity for students' further studies and development. The School sincerely welcomes undergraduates of the class of 2022 who intend to apply for our School's graduate program to register and participate!

Application requirements:
Those who are virtuous, law-abiding, and healthy physically and mentally, and meet any of the following requirements are qualified to be selected as our School's national outstanding college student academic summer camp objects:
1. Excellent full-time 3rd year undergraduates who are studying in Project 211 and Project 985 universities and universities of Double First-Class university project, or major in national key disciplines, characteristic specialties, disciplines ranking B and above in the fourth round of discipline evaluation, and would like to apply for our School's graduate program;
2. Full-time 3rd year undergraduates who have obtained excellent academic achievements, are enthusiastic about the specialty of Marxism, are willing to be engaged in academic research, are expected to meet the students' colleges' requirements for recommended exam-exempted graduates, and would like to apply for our School's recommended exam-exempted graduate program;
3. Applicants with extraordinary scientific research achievements can get easier access, as appropriate. Related applicants are required to submit materials such as scientific research achievements, publicly published papers, and scientific and technological competition awards.
Registration methods:
1. The School adopts online registration and phone registration methods:
Before July 4, 2021, students can log on to Graduate Admissions of Southwest Jiaotong University website (http://yz.swjtu.edu.cn) and click on Academic Summer Camp section for registration.
Phone registration is acceptable as well. Please contact student Ding at 15583415271 for registration.
Please remember to package your electronic version of documentation such as profile, transcripts, and certificates into a file, name it in the form of college name + your name, and send it to email address 1007605958@qq.com.
2. Before July 7, 2020, the School will determine the list of campers and notify selected students. Selected students shall confirm whether to participate before morning's work ends at noon on July 9. Those who fail to confirm within the time limit shall be deemed to have waived qualifications.

Event processes:
1. A general introduction to the School: Introduction to the University and the School history, introduction to the School of Marxism's development history and its achievements in talent development, discipline construction, and teaching and scientific research;
2. Online exchange meeting: Young faculty member representatives from various disciplines introduce each discipline's research directions and specialty characteristics to students, and organize graduate advisors to interact with campers;
3. Camper's report: Each camper makes a self-introduction, selects a research topic related to the camper's program and gives an approximately 5-minute report on this research. The report will serve as an important reference for outstanding camper selection.
Other description:
1. Assistance in exam-exempted graduate recommendation: Those who win the Excellent Student title due to excellent performance in the camp can be tentatively enrolled into our School directly. This is achieved under the condition that the student is qualified as a recommended exam-exempted graduate in his/her own college, registers via the Ministry of Education's National Information Disclosure and Management Service System for Recommending Outstanding Undergraduates for Master's Degree Programs without Examinations (website: http://yz.chsi.com.cn/tm) within the time limit specified by our School (If there is any change, the final notice shall prevail), and complete all the required procedures.
2. Scholarship: An Excellent Student can win the first-class academic scholarship once admitted as our School's graduate of the class of 2022.
3. Assistance in further education: An Excellent Student who has not obtained recommended exam-exempted graduates qualification takes 2022 national entrance examinations for graduate studies, and chooses our School as the first choice will be given preference in admissions under the same conditions.
