In order to welcome the successful convening of the 20th National Congress of the CPC and further improve the level of the Marxist theory disciplines at our school, we are scheduled to hold a seminar on frontier issues in the 31225 conference room of the school from 19:00-21:30 p.m. on June 1, 2022 (Wednesday). Relevant faculty members are invited to attend on time.
Ⅰ. Theme: Research on Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era
Ⅱ. Participants:
1. Specially invited leaders and guests.
2. All professors of the School of Marxism.
3. Teams or project leaders funded according to the ‘Scientific Research Team Establishment Method’, ‘Scientific Research Level Improvement Plan’, and ‘Academic Works Publishing Funding Method’ of the School of Marxism.
At the same time, we warmly welcome all teachers and students of the School of Marxism to attend the meeting also!
Ⅲ. Agenda:
Phase I (19:00-19:10):
Secretary Liao Jun: Announces Diao Chenglin’s appointment as the Scientific Research Secretary of the School.
Phase Ⅱ (19:10-21:30):
1. Professor He Yun’an’s speech: Application and Research of National Social Science Foundation Major Projects (10 minutes)
2. Director Zhang Xueyong’s speech: Organization and Pre-Research of Major Projects of the National Social Science Fund (10 minutes)
3. President Qiu Haiping’s speech: Research Frontier of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era (10 minutes)
4. Speeches of head of each scientific research team
In combination with the research direction of the team and the existing research foundation, report the proposed research on relevant frontier issues (focusing on the proposed application plan for major projects of the National Social Science Fund or major research projects of the Ministry of Education), and any situations that need the support of the school. (6 minutes for each, 48 minutes in total)
5. Free discussion and speech (50 minutes)

(Ⅰ) Relevant teachers who are invited, please make sure you attend the meeting on time. If there are any special reasons that mean you cannot attend the meeting, please make a written statement and ask President Qiu for leave.
